Unholy Meat Obelisk

All shall bow before it

Tortilla, meat, tortilla, meat, tortilla, meat on and on into an unholy meat obelisk. Very delicious, very filling, nice for protein, amazing flavor.

Ingredients

The meat obelisk

  • Tortillas
  • Ground beef
  • Fresh Cilantro
  • White onion
  • Green onion
  • 5 Spice powder
  • Cumin powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika powder
  • An egg
  • Panko or breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil

The glaze

  • Honey
  • Soy sauce
  • BBQ sauce
  • Black pepper
  • Mustard
  • Olive oil

Cooking plan

  • Preheat your oven to 180 Celcius.
  • Cut the rounded edges of the tortillas until they are square.
  • Mix the remaining ingredients for the meat obelisk into a bowl.
  • Put a thin layer of meat on a square tortilla, put a tortilla on top and repeat the lining of meat untill there is no more meat. For the final layer, feel free to add meat on top for an extra crispy meat layer.
  • Next, put skewers into the meat obelisk, and cut it into square pieces. Feel free to take multiple stacks and stack them on top of each other on the skewer for even taller obelisks.
  • Brush the obelisks with olive oil and put them into the oven for about 20 minutes.
  • While the obelisk is cooking, mix the glaze ingredients together.
  • When the obelisk is done, take it out and glaze it with your glaze. Put it back in for another ~5 minutes.
  • Serve with a fresh sauce, like something yoghurt based, or even a guacamole.
