I’ve been wanting to make some more simple meals that are more inspired by European cooking. This led me to create this recipe.
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Paprika powder
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Chili flakes
- Heavy cream
- Shallots
- Garlic
- Thyme
- Chicken stock
- Flour
Cooking plan
- Start by seasoning the chicken thighs on both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika powder, onion powder and garlic powder.
- Next, heat up a cast-iron pan with olive oil and cook your chicken until the outside is crispy and the inside is cooked.
- Remove your chicken from the pan and let it rest.
- Chop up your shallots and add them to the pan. Let them sweat and use a wooden spoon to scrape off the excess fond. It should come loose thanks to the moisture in the shallots.
- Next, add some chopped garlic and chili flakes, and cook for a bit.
- Next, add your thyme and chicken stock, and let it reduce until there is just a small layer left.
- Then, add some flour and heavy cream, and let it cook while stirring until the sauce has your desired consistency.
ENJOY!!
